GREAT FOOD!!!!! MUST TRY
FOR YOURSELF!!! Since our visit we came twice but left due to a wait time but we had to come back, we waiting 15min, BUT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!! Got a plate w chicken flauta, a chicken enchilada, a sope (least favorite) and my favorite a memele (not sure was different) but like a turnover stuffed w cheese, green chili peppers & corn!!! All topped w savory sauces, shredded lettuce & Mexican cheese!!! I really enjoyed the thin crispy tortillas on all the items...beans were delicious too!!! -

Walked from the Hilton to do something different. Awesome lunch spot. $2.61 enchiladas verdes and a Mexican coke. All good!

Wonderful family owned restaurant. I eat here every trip down. Very little English is spoken but everything on the menu is good and inexpensive. Just point to a bunch of food and enjoy you literally can't choose wrong.

This place is beloved by the locals for the amazing pozole. This family run restaurant is no-frills, but the staff are very friendly and accommodated our group which included a finicky five year old. We came on a quiet evening, and there was only one other table occupied, apparently friends of the waiter. According to my friends, there is often a wait to get a table on a busy night.
The pozole was some of the best I've ever had, rich but not heavy. The memelas (fried quesadilla) are supposed to be good too, but second to the famous pozole which we all ordered. It doesn't hurt that the place is incredibly inexpensive.
This should definitely be on your list of must-visit places for authentic tapatío cuisine. -

Excellent patio cafe with tasty food, great prices and happy customers. It was an awesome choice for the late hunger.
